Dilatation & Curettage

This is a very common minor procedure that is done to remove tissue from inside the uterus. This is done to diagnose conditions like heavy bleeding or to clear tissue from the uterine lining after an abortion or a miscarriage and other conditions. At NMC this is an out patient procedure that enable a quick return to normal activities within 2 hours of the procedure. If the procedure is done under anesthesia, patients are able to return home the same day.
